This year, we invite businesses to PARtner for a Great Cause!
That cause is the education of our youth.
Whether they want to attend a four-year college, a two-year college or a trade school.
Help us, help them!

What does PARtnering for a Great Cause mean?
It involves creating mutually beneficial relationships between non-profits and businesses.
Think about how your business can create a mutually beneficial relationship with CCWI.
Can you direct a portion of your sales to our scholarship fund for a period of time?
Can you promote our organization or an event we are hosting to your partners?
Can you drive donations to our scholarship program via your social media platforms?
Can you become a charitable partner connecting us with new donors?

Our Story
Years ago, Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro, Inc., recognized that there were many students graduating from high school who lacked supplemental monies to attend college. The belief that all who want to excel in learning should have an opportunity to do so was paramount amongst them. Hence, the John Roberson Golf Tournament was conceived, and they began hosting an annual golf tournament to raise scholarship money for students who needed additional educational funds to attend
a two-year or four-year college.
The tournament was named for John Lawlor Roberson a local resident who grew up in Stone Harbor, NJ, was an educator, and a dedicated member of CCWI. He served for almost 17 years as the organization's scholarship committee chairperson. John believed that education made one a better person in all aspects of life. He was a huge proponent of higher education. Therefore, the name of the tournament is fittingly in his honor and will remain,
"A True Dedication To Continuing Educational Opportunities For Cape May County Students"!
